Steve McMichael Battling ALS, Inducted Into the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Battling ALS and bedridden, Steve McMichael still found a way to make his Hall of Fame dream come true.

Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2024, Steve McMichael couldn't make it to the ceremony, so the ceremony came to him.

In 1995, McMichael was hired by World Championship Wrestling (WCW). On September 4, 1995, he made his debut with the company as the pro-babyface. Despite his success in professional wrestling, McMichael's true passion was football.

Diagnosed with ALS in 2016, McMichael's health declined rapidly. However, he remained determined to make it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. With the help of his wife, Misty, and the support of his fans, McMichael was able to attend the ceremony in spirit.

McMichael's story is an inspiration to us all. It shows us that anything is possible if we never give up on our dreams. Despite the challenges he faced, McMichael never lost sight of his goal of being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. His induction is a testament to his hard work, determination, and perseverance.
