India name 15-player squad for ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024

New Zealand were the first team to announce their 15-member squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 15-player squad for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. The tournament will be held in the United States and the West Indies from June 14 to July 3.

India will be led by Rohit Sharma, who will be captaining the team for the first time in a T20 World Cup. Other senior players in the squad include Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Jasprit Bumrah.

India have been drawn in Group 2 of the tournament, alongside Australia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and one qualifier. They will begin their campaign against Pakistan on October 23.
